Sometimes it is hard to know when to sell your home. Buying and selling your home is really your life. Your family home is where you live, sleep, entertain and build your memories. Letting go of a home that is too large or a home that is too small isn’t always about practical math. Homes have a lot of emotions attached to their existence. When you sell your home you realize there will be no more neighborhood get togethers, Christmas celebrations, family dinners at your house that used to be filled with energy and excitement. On the practical side, you know that the house is bigger than you need, utilities are expensive and that now is the time to cash out and get some of that equity you have been working so hard to gain.
I am a true believer that everything works out in the end and memories can be made anywhere. Friends and family will follow you wherever the road takes you. Relationships are the most important part of life and your home is where you make it.
So the bottom line is if the pros out weigh the cons for selling… just go for it! Everything will work out in the end and you may be able to enjoy that equity in a new home or new town. Life is an adventure and we all need to get out there and live it.
